Dennis Leaver is a passionate writer, dedicated to exploring the intersection of God’s endless love with human experience. Ragged Road's work has been celebrated for its thought-provoking themes and profound insights into the human spirit.
From the lush marijuana growing fields of Northern California, Dennis travels to the rocky coast of Maine, drawn by a mysterious enlightenment. He knows he must leave behind the bitter betrayal and fast-paced life to search for something he cannot see. It’s a powerful spiritual force ... a force so deep and profound that he'll do anything to obtain it. Once he finds it, what will he do with it? With 11 impactful books to date, working primarily as an educator in the field of radiation oncology, he has helped cancer patients battle their disease. Leaver has authored five editions of Washington and Leaver’s Principals and Practice of Radiation Therapy, which was recently translated into a simplified Chinese edition. He continues to write, helping patient’s and loved ones with the physical and emotional effects of cancer.
Partners for World Health (PWH) has provided Dennis an opportunity to give back. He helps collect medical equipment and supplies from area hospitals. Much of this would otherwise end up in the landfill. Instead they inspect, sort and re-package supplies into shipping containers, which are sent overseas.
